Scientific research

JSC "Russian Space Systems" is an annual participant in 2009–2013 "Innovative Russia scientific and academic personnel" Federal special-purpose program contests:

  • 1.1. Scientific research by scientific and education centers personnel;
  • 1.2.1. Scientific research by science teams led by Doctors of Sciences;
  • 1.2.2. Scientific research by science teams lead by Candidates of Sciences;
  • 1.3.2. Scientific research by assigned postgraduate students in scientific and education centers.

2009–2013 "Innovative Russia scientific and academic personnel" Federal special-purpose program is established by Decree No. 568 of Russian Federation Government dated 28 July 2008. Governmental customer for the Program is the Ministry of   Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

To facilitate increased participation of young scientists, postgraduate students and students in scientific research and prototype development projects within the company activity scope to facilitate participation in the Program, the company Directive No. 27a dated 30.01.2009 established the "Space rocket equipment production and information systems" Scientific and education center and approved the corresponding Provision.

During 2009–2011 leading company scientists were participating in Program events.

Most important Program goal is involvement of young scientists, postgraduate students and students in scientific research and prototype development. During Program events, postgraduate students and students of leading Moscow higher education institutes, including JSC "Russian Space Systems" postgraduate students as well as postgraduate students and students Moscow State Polytechnic University after N. E. Bauman, Moscow Physics and Technology Institute, Moscow Energy Institute and Moscow Aviation Institute were involved.

In 2009, Scientific and education center team has won the contest event 1.1. Project topic – "Development of prospective small spacecraft space system for tomographic monitoring of ionosphere outlook" with the goal of development of new principles for building prospective space systems and equipment for ionosphere plasma research by electromagnetic transmission probing, led by Aleksei Aleksandrovich Romanov, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, Deputy Generel Director and Deputy Chief Designer.

Also, in 2009, the contest on event 1.3.2 was won. Project topic – "Methodology development for high precision radiometric adjustment of calibration emissions sources", with the goal of development of high precision calibration emissions sources; carried out by ÎÀÎ "Rossiyskie kosmicheskie sistemy" postgraduate student, research engineer Aleksei Mikhailovich Soloviov.

In 2010, the contest on event 1.2.1 was won. Project topic – "Research of possibilities for design of metamaterials based variable parameters smallscale aerials", with the goal of solving physical and technical problems of metamaterials based variable parameters smallscale aerials creation for new generation scanning systems, led by Andrei Aleksandrovich Zhukov, Doctor of Engineering, Associate Professor, Department Head.
