In the threshold of Petersburg International Economic Forum, II Youth International Economic Forum will be held in Saint-Petersburg, when young leaders of Russia and foreign countries will participate in the discussion of innovation projects and will have an opportunity to talk to widely recognized experts in different fields.
This event, unique by its format, is intended to highlight the issues of entrepreneurship culture development, education, sports and many others. Consolidating topic of the forum is elimination of barriers between Russia and other countries of Europe, Asia and America. Within the forum's framework young energetic leaders from Russia and other countries will give their recommendations regarding key Russian projects development. Separate session of Youth International Economic Forum, devoted to technological development, will be focused on the space theme: GLONASS system development, satellite navigation and other services provided by Russian satellites.
Many famous Russian and foreign experts stated their willingness to discuss issues and to demonstrate projects to youth: Arkadiy Dvorkovich, Assistant to the President of Russian Federation, Viktor Vekselberg, Head of Skolkovo Fund, Steven Gaiger, Head of Skolkovo Innovation Center, Mikhail Prokhorov, businessman, Sergey Guriyev, President of Russian Economic Schoold, Vyachelav Nikonov, Dean of State Management Faculty in MSU, Dmitriy Zelenin, Tver' Oblast Governor, Nikita Belykh, Kirov Oblast Governor and many others.
In reference to technological modernization, there will be the following key speakers: Jeffrey Hamilton, Trimble Key Partnership Director for USA and Matthew Higgins, President of IGNSS Society from Australia, Nikolay Nikiforov, Minister of Information and Telecommunication of Tatarstan Republic, leading scientists from Federal Space Agency – JSC “Rossiyskie kosmicheskie sistemy” representatives, FGUP CNIImash and others.
Among other participants of the Forum are Yelena Masolova, founder and director of “Groupon Russia”; John Manzie, young serial entrepreneur from USA who earned his fist million at 16; Setino Hendi, founder and director of big Indonesia grocery shops network “Baba Rafi”; Olesya Vladykina, paralympic champion, Sochi-2014 Olympic Games ambassador.
Yuri Kotler, the head of Forum organizing committee, a manager of the project “Candidates pool is a national team of professionals” commented on the event: “The main priority for the Forum is to connect the interests of youth, business and the government, to show possible and necessary courses of their cooperation. Speaking of the economy modernization and innovative development, we should understand that we need new leaders. And the more educated and integrated into the world system those young people will be, the more efficient will be their ability to cope.”

Official opening of Youth International Economic Forum will take place on June 15 in the Hotel “Park Inn Pribaltiyskaya” in Saint-Petersburg. The second day will be connected to the Petersburg International Economic Forum, and will be held in Lenexpo. Forum's results presentation will be on the night June 16 on the span of the draw bridge Dvortsoviy.
