The ERA-GLONASS

«ЭРА-ГЛОНАСС» - комплексная система экстренного реагирования при авариях на базе многофункциональных пользовательских устройств, обслуживаемых спутниковыми системами Глонасс. Она предназначена для повышения безопасности грузовых и пассажирских перевозок, снижения последствий травматизма и смертности на дорогах.

  • Two-way voice communication facilitation between the traffic controller and the driver meeting an accident

There are over 60 regional centers created, which implement different scale navigation information systems in the regions. Major projects based on unified software-hardware platform were implemented in Moscow, Penza, Norilsk, Barnaul, Dubna, Sochi, and in Saratov and Kaluga oblasts.

ERA GLONASS is the project that will facilitate large-scale GLONASS technology implementation and will boost the design of competitive mass-market navigation devices, and unification of solutions offered with foreign navigation systems.

Telematic module is the core system building component, it is a hybrid unit designed for:
  • Global satellite navigation systems (GLONASS, GPS, etc.) signal reception
  • Transport vehicle sensors readings control and processing
  • Control of actuator units installed on a transport vehicle
  • Navigation data transmission to telematic server of the transport monitoring system and command instructions reception from telematic server

  • Development of technical and organizational basis for intellectual transportation systems development


  • Road accident response time reduction by 10 to 30 %
  • Road accidents consequences mitigation budget expenses reduction by factor of 1.5-2 (about 200 billion rubles)
  • GLONASS/GPS and GLONASS/GPS/Galileo/COMPASS navigation chipsets production for portable and mobile equipment, navigation and telematic equipment production costs reduction by facilitation of wide-scale GLONASS system capabilities utilization
  • Navigation receivers production output is 100,000 to 15,000,000 units per year
  • Production and installation of telematic modules capable of recording automotive vehicle technical characteristics into automotive transport vehicles
